Regular Season Round 17: Inter B. - RBS Centrs 82-78

Everything went according to plan when twenty fifth ranked SlovakianInter (4-4) defeated 57th ranked Latvian RBS Centrs (2-6) 82-78 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Inter took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But RBS Centrs won third quarter 25-22 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Matus Jozsa nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and forward Martin Lukjanec (197-2009) accounted for 20 points and 9 rebounds. Four Inter B. players scored in double figures. Guard Raivo Indans (175-2009) came up with 27 points and 6 rebounds and Ernests Vezitis added 25 points and 5 rebounds respectively for RBS Centrs in the defeat. RBS Centrs' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Inter moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser RBS Centrs dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with A.Kraukla/VEF.
